Two stadium shows will reach audiences far beyond Asia
BTS will broadcast its November 21, 2026, concert in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and its December 29 performance in Jakarta, Indonesia, to cinemas in more than 80 countries and regions, extending the ARIRANG world tour beyond its stadium audiences.

BigHit Music announced through the fan platform Weverse that the Kaohsiung performance will reach about 3,300 cinema screens worldwide, while the Jakarta concert will reach about 2,800. The broadcasts will feature the second of three Kaohsiung shows and the third and final Jakarta performance.
Tickets go on sale November 5, with sales in South Korea opening at 10 a.m. Korea Standard Time and international sales beginning at 10 p.m. KST. Trafalgar Releasing, HYBE and BigHit Music are presenting the cinema events.
The screenings give fans another way to watch complete stadium performances without travelling to Taiwan or Indonesia. Audiences in some countries will see the concerts live, while others will watch a delayed broadcast one or two days later because of time zone differences.
The announcement follows a South American tour that drew 853,000 spectators to 14 sold out performances across five cities. BTS now has 15 concerts scheduled across five Asian cities between November 19 and December 29, before planned appearances in Australia in February 2027.
What will cinema audiences see?
The cinema programme features two complete concerts, rather than a selection of songs from different tour stops. All seven BTS members, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, are part of the performances.
The ARIRANG production uses a stage arranged in the round, with the audience surrounding the performance area. The cinema broadcasts will bring that stadium production to large screens and cinema sound systems, allowing viewers to watch together outside the host cities.
The two announced screen counts add up to about 6,100 across the separate events. Kaohsiung has about 500 more screens booked than Jakarta, roughly 18% more than Jakarta's allocation. Some cinemas may participate in both events, so the combined figure describes the scale of the two bookings rather than a count of distinct venues.
Marc Allenby, chief executive officer of Trafalgar Releasing, described the broadcasts as a continuation of the company's collaboration with HYBE and BigHit Music. He said:
These upcoming broadcasts from Kaohsiung and Jakarta capture the unmatched scale and energy of BTS live in stadiums, giving the fan community around the world a shared big-screen celebration to close out 2026.
When do tickets go on sale?
November 5 is the ticket launch date for both cinema events. South Korean sales begin at 10 a.m. KST, followed 12 hours later by the international launch at 10 p.m. KST.
The international opening corresponds to 5 a.m. Pacific Time, 8 a.m. Eastern Time and 1 p.m. GMT on November 5. Those times describe the same sales launch in different time zones, allowing fans in different countries to identify when booking begins where they live.
South Korean audiences will be able to attend screenings at CGV, Lotte Cinema and Megabox. Participating cinemas, local ticket information and screening schedules are listed at btsliveviewing.com.
Participation by CGV cinemas in Indonesia had not been confirmed when the screenings were announced. Indonesian fans therefore still need local cinema listings to find out where they can attend, even though Jakarta is one of the two cities supplying the broadcasts.
Why some screenings will happen later
BigHit Music says broadcast schedules will vary by territory. A concert taking place in Asia can fall at an inconvenient hour elsewhere, so some cinemas will show the performance after it has finished instead of carrying it at the same moment.
The Kaohsiung concert is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, with encore screenings in selected markets on Sunday, November 22. The Jakarta performance takes place on Tuesday, December 29, with screenings in selected markets on Wednesday, December 30.
The broader announcement allows for delays of one or two days, depending on the region. A local screening may therefore have a different calendar date from the stadium concert advertised in the event's name.
For fans, the practical detail is the date and time attached to their chosen cinema showing. The November 21 and December 29 dates identify the performances being broadcast; local listings determine when a particular audience will watch them.
Five cities and 15 concerts across Asia
BTS will open this Asian leg at Kaohsiung National Stadium on November 19. The group then moves through Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore before ending the announced Asian schedule in Jakarta on December 29.
Singapore has four performances, the largest allocation among these five cities. Kaohsiung, Bangkok and Jakarta each have three, while Kuala Lumpur has two. Together, those dates make up the 15 concerts announced for this part of the tour.
The main ticket and concert milestones are:
- November 5, 2026: Cinema tickets go on sale, starting at 10 a.m. KST in South Korea and 10 p.m. KST internationally.
- November 19, 21 and 22: Kaohsiung concerts, with the November 21 performance selected for cinema broadcast.
- December 3, 5 and 6: Bangkok concerts.
- December 12 and 13: Kuala Lumpur concerts.
- December 17, 19, 20 and 22: Singapore concerts.
- December 26, 27 and 29: Jakarta concerts, with the December 29 performance selected for cinema broadcast.
- February 2027: The tour is scheduled to continue in Melbourne and Sydney.
The cinema programme selects two of the 15 Asian performances. It gives audiences outside the stadiums access to a show near the beginning of the regional schedule and another at its conclusion.
Jakarta's final date follows an early rush for rooms
The December 29 cinema broadcast also gives a firm date for Jakarta's third performance. Earlier information had listed December 26 and 27, while describing an additional show without giving its date.
Jakarta was already experiencing demand for accommodation before the full three date schedule became clear. Artotel Group chief operating officer Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego said the company's hotel in the Gelora Bung Karno area was fully booked for the December 26 and 27 concerts, amid an early rush for rooms.
Artotel planned to increase its average room rate by 5% to 7% compared with the same holiday period a year earlier. The performances fall immediately after Christmas, bringing concert travel into the same period as demand for holidays around New Year.
The Jakarta concerts are scheduled at Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno, within the larger GBK sports complex in Senayan. For visiting fans, attending in person can involve accommodation and transport as well as a concert ticket. Cinema attendance offers a different option for people who cannot secure a stadium seat or make the journey.
South America shows the scale behind the expansion
BTS completed its South American leg at Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with performances on October 28, 30 and 31. BigHit Music said all 14 concerts across the region's five host cities sold out, attracting a combined audience of 853,000.
The route began in Bogota, Colombia, on October 2, then continued through Lima in Peru, Santiago in Chile and Buenos Aires in Argentina before reaching Brazil. Dividing the announced attendance by 14 gives an average of about 60,900 spectators per performance.
Colombia and Argentina hosted the group's first performances there with all seven members together. Peru was a first visit since the group's debut, while the Chile and Brazil appearances marked returns after nine and seven years respectively.
The Asian schedule contains one more concert than the South American leg, 15 rather than 14, across the same number of cities. Attendance figures for the Asian dates have not yet been announced.
BigHit Music also described increased activity in tourism, accommodation and transport around the South American performances. Flight bookings in Bogota rose 46.6% compared with the same period a year earlier. In Lima, vehicle requests reached 15 times their usual level on the first concert day and as much as 48 times the usual level after the show.
Those figures describe different pressures created by a stadium event: travel into the host city and the concentrated demand to leave the venue after a performance. Jakarta's early hotel bookings show how accommodation can also become part of concert planning well before audiences arrive.
Cinema broadcasts are becoming a recurring tour feature
The Kaohsiung and Jakarta events follow earlier ARIRANG cinema broadcasts from Goyang and Tokyo in April, Busan in June, and Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo in October. The Busan event coincided with the group's homecoming and debut anniversary celebrations.
Trafalgar Releasing specialises in distributing concerts and other performances to cinemas. Its wider distribution network covers more than 15,000 cinemas across 132 countries, while the BTS events have their own announced screen allocations and participating territories.
HYBE is BigHit Music's parent company, and BigHit Music is the label representing BTS. Their partnership with Trafalgar brings the concert production, artist organisation and cinema distribution into the same release.
For this stage of ARIRANG, the result is a second route to the performances: 15 concerts for stadium audiences across Asia, with two selected shows also scheduled for viewers in cinemas around the world. The immediate next milestone is the November 5 ticket launch, followed by the opening Kaohsiung concert on November 19.
