The Vietnamese singer said she was surprised by the speed of purchases. Her Hanoi concert in 2025 needed 38 minutes to sell its first 10,000 tickets. This time, the same number went in 33 fewer minutes, making the average sales pace 7.6 times as fast: about 2,000 tickets a minute, compared with about 263.

For fans who missed the opening sale, October 21 is the next opportunity to buy. Six ticket categories have been announced, ranging from 1.5 million to 4.6 million Vietnamese dong. The highest category includes access to a soundcheck with Mỹ Tâm on November 20, the day before the concert.

The show follows See The Light at Hanoi's Mỹ Đình Stadium on December 13, 2025, which attracted about 40,000 spectators and marked the largest concert audience of her career. The Ho Chi Minh City edition will continue that production's musical story while adding arrangements and performances prepared for its new venue.

Mỹ Tâm, music director Hoài Sa and the band have already finalized the set list. The singer is training in fitness and dance, while the detailed stage design and production concept are still to be announced.

What the six ticket categories cost

The ticket structure offers two standing categories and four seated categories. The lowest price is 1.5 million dong, while Super VIP, also called SVIP, costs 4.6 million dong.

  • Standard standing: 1.5 million dong.
  • Fanzone standing: 2.5 million dong.
  • Seated categories: 2.7 million, 3.4 million and 4 million dong.
  • Super VIP seating: 4.6 million dong.

A fan choosing Super VIP will pay 3.1 million dong more than someone buying the lowest priced standing ticket. The middle categories create several choices between those prices, including a seated option at 2.7 million dong, just 200,000 dong above Fanzone standing.

Fans deciding what to buy therefore have two practical considerations: their spending limit and whether they want to stand or sit during the performance. Soundcheck access adds another difference at the top of the price range.

Soundcheck access and ticket security

Organizers say buyers of early sale Super VIP tickets can attend the November 20 soundcheck with Mỹ Tâm. A soundcheck is a rehearsal in which performers and technicians test microphones, instruments and the sound system before the main show.

Fans in other ticket categories may also receive access through random selection. Super VIP provides the stated entitlement, while access for other categories depends on that selection process.

Mỹ Tâm's team has also asked buyers to keep ticket QR codes, ticket numbers and personal booking information off social media. A QR code can function as a digital key for admission, so posting a readable image gives other people an opportunity to copy it.

Fans sharing a successful purchase should keep those details out of the image. The warning is particularly relevant after a fast sale, when buyers may be eager to celebrate their bookings publicly and other fans are still searching for tickets.

The dates fans need to know

See The Light Day 2 brings together a ticket sale in October, a soundcheck in November and the main performance the following evening. The sequence began with the Hanoi concert last December.

  • December 13, 2025: See The Light took place at Mỹ Đình Stadium in Hanoi.
  • October 15, 2026, at 11 a.m.: The Ho Chi Minh City early sale opened, with 10,000 tickets sold in five minutes.
  • October 21, 2026, at 11 a.m.: The next ticket sale is scheduled to begin.
  • November 20, 2026: Eligible fans can attend the soundcheck with Mỹ Tâm.
  • November 21, 2026: See The Light Day 2 is scheduled at the Vạn Phúc urban area in Ho Chi Minh City.

The October 21 sale follows the exhausted early allocation. Fans planning to attend both the soundcheck and concert will need to account for two consecutive days rather than just the main performance.

A new venue brings changes to the performance

Mỹ Tâm's team plans to adapt the music and staging to Vạn Phúc rather than simply repeat the Hanoi concert. Preparations include sound, lighting, arrangements and performances designed around the Ho Chi Minh City location.

Familiar songs from different periods of her career are expected alongside material prepared specifically for this edition. New arrangements can change the pace, instrumentation or mood of a familiar song, giving returning audiences something different while keeping the music recognizable.

Hoài Sa and the band's completed set list gives the production a settled musical framework. Mỹ Tâm's fitness and dance training addresses another part of the preparation: delivering vocals and movement across a large concert space.

The stage design and special production details will be announced later. No announcement date has been given. For now, the confirmed preparations point to continuity with Hanoi's See The Light concert, combined with changes for the new location.

Hanoi set a demanding benchmark

The December 2025 concert at Mỹ Đình used a stage more than 75 metres wide, a catwalk extending more than 40 metres and approximately 1,650 square metres of LED screens. More than 1,000 workers took part in construction and technical completion over 14 days.

Those dimensions help explain the scale of the undertaking. A long catwalk brings a performer farther into the audience, while large screens allow people farther from the stage to follow expressions and choreography. Sound, lighting, video and live performance all have to work together across the venue.

Mỹ Tâm performed familiar songs with new arrangements, and rapper Đen joined her for a collaboration. The Ho Chi Minh City production has promised its own changes, giving fans who attended Hanoi a reason to return.

The Hanoi ticket announcements recorded the first 10,000 sales in 38 minutes, followed by a sellout of the full announced allocation of 22,000 tickets. Attendance was put at about 40,000, with some accounts placing it above 40,000; the breakdown between ticket sales and the wider audience count was not published.

The audience figure was described at the time as a record for a solo concert by a Vietnamese artist. It also extended Mỹ Tâm's history at Mỹ Đình, where she had previously staged Yesterday & Now in 2004 and Tri Âm in 2022.

Decades of songs behind the demand

Mỹ Tâm began singing at 17 after training at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. Her professional career developed from the late 1990s, with songs including Cây Đàn Sinh Viên, Tóc Nâu Môi Trầm, Ước Gì and Nhé Anh helping establish her name in the early 2000s.

Her catalogue includes nine albums. Tâm 9, released in 2017, remains a major milestone, while subsequent concerts have kept earlier songs in circulation through live performances and new arrangements.

Her stadium history shows the growth in audience scale. Yesterday & Now drew around 10,000 fans in 2004, and Tri Âm attracted approximately 30,000 at Mỹ Đình in 2022. Using the rounded figure of 40,000 for See The Light in 2025, that was an increase of about 10,000 spectators, or one third, from Tri Âm.

Mỹ Tâm's international recognition includes an Mnet Asian Music Award in 2012, the Asia's Music Legend award in Malaysia in 2014 and the Best Selling Artist of Asia award at the Big Apple Music Awards in 2015. Her work has also expanded into cinema through Chị Trợ Lý Của Anh, the documentary Người Giữ Thời Gian and Tài, directed by Mai Tài Phến.

A busy concert season puts demand in context

Vietnam's concert calendar for the closing months of 2026 includes numerous large productions in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Some shows are expected to attract between 30,000 and 50,000 people per night, placing Mỹ Tâm's sale within a wider period of strong demand for live music.

Concerts for Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai season two and Tinh hà "say hi" on October 17 were both announced as sold out. The latter is also scheduled at Vạn Phúc, the same urban area that will host Mỹ Tâm in November.

Smaller concerts have also moved tickets quickly, including performances by HIEUTHUHAI and Phùng Khánh Linh. Audiences are choosing among shows of different sizes, prices and musical styles during a crowded season.

Mỹ Tâm's position within that calendar is distinctive because her concert is built around one singer's career. Productions such as Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai and Anh trai say hi bring together multiple performers and their audiences. Her five minute sale shows the purchasing demand concentrated around a single artist, supported by a catalogue developed over nearly three decades.

For concertgoers, the immediate decisions are concrete: which ticket category fits their budget, whether soundcheck access matters to them and whether they can secure a place when sales resume on October 21.
