The last alliance contest delivered a reversal. Kỳ Tích scored 2,270 audience voting points for Ngầu đét, defeating Khải Hoàn's Thăng hoa, which received 2,070. The 200 point advantage secured four additional lineup places for Kỳ Tích, taking its allocation from two to six and overtaking Khải Hoàn's four.

The outcome was more specific than a conventional championship. The program did not select a single overall champion. Instead, it assembled a winning collective and awarded individual distinctions, including the two Chiến tướng titles, known as X-Fire. Those honors recognized the highest individual scores among performers who had held the show's chiến tướng role during earlier performances.

Another prominent result separated leadership recognition from qualification: actor and director Huỳnh Lập received the X-Leader award for outstanding leadership despite missing the final 17. Five returning performers from the 2024 season also received special recognition after agreeing not to compete for the new season's main awards or lineup places.

The television competition ended with episode 15, but its next scheduled events were already close. Concerts were planned for October 17 and 18 in Ho Chi Minh City, with organizers saying tickets for both dates had sold out.

How the final lineup was selected

The 17 places came through three distinct routes: ten through alliance victories across the final's three rounds, six through individual scoring and one through the audience award for most popular performer. That structure explains why winning the last performance was valuable without guaranteeing places for every member of the victorious alliance.

Thái Lê Minh Hiếu was the first performer confirmed after winning Anh tài được yêu thích nhất, the audience award for most popular talent. Four Khải Hoàn places then went to Thơm Da LAB, Hà An Huy, OSAD and Hồ Đông Quan.

Kỳ Tích's six places went to Thỏ Da LAB, Mew Amazing, Đinh Mạnh Ninh, Hoàng Tôn, K.O and Cheng. The remaining six were awarded to the highest scorers among 13 performers still awaiting selection: Đông Hùng, It's Charles, Hoàng Dũng, Trịnh Thăng Bình, Thái VG and Hoàng Rob.

The arithmetic is straightforward: one audience favorite, four Khải Hoàn representatives, six Kỳ Tích representatives and six individual qualifiers made 17. The two Da LAB members qualified through different alliances, with Thơm representing Khải Hoàn and Thỏ representing Kỳ Tích.

The program calls its individual measure điểm hỏa lực, or firepower points. These were competition scores used to rank performers and determine qualification, rather than a separate musical skill test. Reports describe the selection routes but do not give a complete calculation showing every finalist's accumulated score or the final numerical gap between the two X-Fire recipients and other eligible performers.

The earlier rounds made the last contest decisive

The finale unfolded across two broadcasts. By the end of the first installment on October 3, Khải Hoàn held four alliance places and Kỳ Tích held two. Four more were still available in the Đại chiến round broadcast on October 10.

In the opening Tiên phong round, Thanh Duy and Mew Amazing represented Kỳ Tích with Bầu trời mới, a performance about parallel versions of a person choosing different lives. Their 2,720 points beat the 2,260 awarded to Huỳnh Lập and OSAD's Trốn tìm, earning Kỳ Tích its first two places.

Khải Hoàn then won both parts of the Tiến công round. In the vocal contest, Cơm nhà scored 1,540 against Em tôi's 1,530, a margin of just ten points. Cơm nhà explored memories of mothers, family meals and growing older, while Em tôi portrayed soldiers learning that flooding had struck their hometown.

The performance contest produced a wider gap. Khải Hoàn's Tóc ngắn received 1,680 points against 1,370 for Kỳ Tích's 60 năm cuộc đời. Those two victories gave Khải Hoàn four places and the lead before the final round.

The key dates and results were:

  • June 2026: The second season began broadcasting.
  • Early July: The reunion performance produced the first prominent group and individual rankings.
  • October 3: Kỳ Tích secured two final places, while Khải Hoàn secured four.
  • October 10: Kỳ Tích won four more places, and the final 17 and individual awards were announced.
  • October 17 and 18: Two concerts were scheduled in Ho Chi Minh City.

Two contrasting visions for the final stage

Kỳ Tích, led by Thanh Duy and Mew Amazing, built Ngầu đét as a celebration of its collective identity. Hoàng Tôn began composing from the chorus, after which other members contributed to the finished song. The performance combined energetic choreography with opportunities to interact with the audience.

Mew Amazing said the initial stage idea was a banquet where the alliance's 12 members could enjoy the results of their work together. That image developed into a broader dance performance, preserving the idea of a group celebrating what it had achieved.

Khải Hoàn, led by Huỳnh Lập and OSAD, took a different approach with Thăng hoa. It's Charles handled much of the music production, bringing together rap sections, melodies and lyrics contributed by the performers. Huỳnh Lập, Jun Phạm and Hoàng Rob developed a futuristic setting in which people formed through technology and steel emerged to establish their identities.

A red iron heart behind the performers represented human values that technology could not replace. Hoàng Rob played violin, Hà An Huy played drums and Đông Hùng had an opportunity to explore rock. The result placed instrumental performance and theatrical storytelling alongside the alliance's vocal and rap contributions.

Although Ngầu đét won the audience contest, both performances showed how the final depended on shared creative work. Composition, production, choreography and staging were distributed among members rather than assigned solely to the named leaders.

Đinh Mạnh Ninh turned an early setback into recognition

Đinh Mạnh Ninh's final result followed a difficult opening stretch. He received 150 points at the first performance round and ranked 29th. At the second round, a red card put him at risk of elimination, before his rock performance of Giã từ dĩ vãng helped him continue.

That recovery involved a direct contest with Hà An Huy, giving the two eventual X-Fire recipients an earlier connection within the season. They also had a relationship before this show through Big Song Big Deal, where Hà An Huy was a contestant and Đinh Mạnh Ninh served as a judge.

At the final, Đinh Mạnh Ninh moved between sharply different roles. In Em tôi, he appeared with Thỏ Da LAB, Hoàng Tôn, 14 Casper and Cheng as soldiers confronting loss during floods. In Ngầu đét, he adopted platinum hair and a tougher stage persona.

The singer, born in 1989, said reaching the finale already exceeded his expectations. He also explained that he was less confident about leading or distributing tasks than about committing fully to work entrusted to him. In remarks translated from Vietnamese, he described that approach:

Whatever the brothers ask me to do, I will give my all to it.

After 18 years in entertainment, he said the show still brought first experiences, including an intense working schedule, an extended stay in Ho Chi Minh City and living with 33 other men. A former M4U member, he was already known for Mùa yêu đầu and Hà Nội trà đá vỉa hè. His October 2023 album Make It Together contained nine songs he wrote.

Hà An Huy added another milestone, with a disputed turning point

Hà An Huy entered the season with major competition credentials: victory in Big Song Big Deal in 2022 and Vietnam Idol in 2023. He also appeared in Đảo thiên đường in 2024. Born in 2002, he was among the younger performers in the cast.

His season included solo and group work, musical planning and leadership responsibilities. Performances such as Nhức tiềm thức, Vỡ tan and Tiếng ru cội nguồn formed part of that journey, while his drumming in Thăng hoa added another dimension to his final appearance.

His path was not uninterrupted. Reports agree that OSAD helped him continue when he faced elimination, but differ on when it happened. Some place the rescue at the fifth performance round, with one identifying episode 12; another places it at the fourth. Accounts also differ over the numbering of his leadership assignments, describing either the first and second rounds or the second and third.

There is a separate discrepancy in accounts of his earlier career: one dates both previous competition victories to 2023, while other accounts identify Big Song Big Deal as a 2022 win and Vietnam Idol as a 2023 win. Those distinctions matter when describing his record, even though they do not change the finale result.

At the awards ceremony, Hà An Huy focused on his family. He recalled his mother, performer Minh Phương, worrying about whether he could care for himself after moving to Ho Chi Minh City. He presented his achievement as evidence that he could now manage his own life and begin caring for relatives.

For him, the season was therefore both professional recognition and a marker of adulthood. He described the affection from fellow artists and viewers as exceeding what he had imagined before joining.

Huỳnh Lập received a leadership award outside the final 17

Huỳnh Lập's X-Leader award exposed an important distinction in the competition: strong collective leadership did not necessarily produce a high individual ranking. He held the captaincy six times, and teams under his leadership recorded four victories, yet his individual scores were comparatively low.

His assignments included Nhà Làm Mạnh at the first performance round, Nhà Bồng Bềnh at the third and Khải Hoàn at the final. Nhong nhong nhong, performed with Thái VG and Thái Lê Minh Hiếu, helped his first team finish at the top.

Reports describe his award as an exception to an intended arrangement under which X-Leader would go to someone in the final lineup. He was the only artist outside the returning group among the 18 finalists eligible for the main lineup who did not enter the final 17.

The actor and director said his role was to connect people and gather their creative proposals, then present them to program director Đinh Hà Uyên Thư and creative director Vỹ Khang. That explanation credits both fellow performers and the production team, rather than suggesting he independently devised every stage.

Accepting the award, Huỳnh Lập credited the trust of his teammates. In remarks translated from Vietnamese, he explained why that trust mattered:

Without the trust of the brothers, there would be no run of leadership roles, and without that run of leadership roles, Lập would not have this trophy today.

Five returning artists stepped aside from the main contest

Jun Phạm, BB Trần, Duy Khánh, Thanh Duy and Neko Lê received the special contribution award, X-Devotion. Jun Phạm said the five returning artists had agreed with the producer not to enter the main awards system for the 2026 contestants because their purpose was to support and connect the new cast.

The decision was consequential because they had demonstrated substantial audience support. At the reunion performance in early July, their group scored 1,660 points, finishing second among ten groups and only 20 points behind the leader. The ballad group Anh tài tình, comprising Hoàng Dũng, Nguyễn Văn Chung, Vương Anh Tú and 14 Casper, scored 1,340 and placed ninth.

Four returning members also occupied four of the top five individual positions after that performance: BB Trần received 490 points, Jun Phạm 480, Duy Khánh 460 and Thanh Duy 390. The rankings prompted debate among some viewers about the influence of established fan bases on voting.

Their later decision to step aside should not be described as a confirmed response to that debate. Jun Phạm explained it in terms of the group's original purpose: companionship and support rather than individual titles. The special contribution recognition acknowledged that role without placing them in the final 17.

Some reports broadly describe the group as withdrawing from finale awards, yet Jun Phạm and Neko Lê still received additional personal distinctions. The more precise distinction is between the main competitive system and the separate honors they were subsequently given.

Awards and reunions extended recognition beyond qualification

The final also recognized contributions that were not captured by lineup selection. It's Charles received the melody creation award; Nguyễn Văn Chung received the transformation award; Will received the resilience award; and 14 Casper received the breakthrough award.

Other recipients included Phùng Minh Cương for igniting enthusiasm, Đại Nghĩa for passing on inspiration, Lê Xuân Tiền for enthusiasm, Thuận Nguyễn for exceeding limits, Vương Anh Tú for impact, Toki Thành Thỏ for mettle and Tùng Mint for courage. Neko Lê received the entertainment distinction, while Jun Phạm received honors for inspiration and warmth. Thái Lê Minh Hiếu also received Anh tài làm mạnh.

The final had included returns before the closing reunion: 14 Casper and Toki Thành Thỏ rejoined through revival places. Later, performers eliminated earlier returned for Mùa hè năm ấy, followed by the theme song Hỏa tâm. The episode also showed artists leaving their shared accommodation and singing Mong ước kỉ niệm xưa as a farewell.

Accounts differ on the number participating in the closing reunion, with one reporting 33 and others describing all 34 season performers. The reason for that discrepancy is not specified.

Host and performer Đại Nghĩa said participants had followed journeys of different lengths but shared affection for one another and gratitude for audience support. Thơm Da LAB thanked the crew, viewers and fellow performers, and paid particular tribute to his wife for managing family responsibilities while he rehearsed and recorded.

Concerts follow, but attendance is still a projection

The next scheduled stage of the program was the pair of Ho Chi Minh City concerts on October 17 and 18, one week after the final broadcast. Organizers said both performances had sold out.

One report projected a combined audience of 100,000 for the two nights. That figure is an expectation, not a confirmed attendance count, and the ticket announcement does not by itself establish how many people will attend. Further fan meetings involving teams were also reported, without specific dates.

The Vietnamese adaptation of China's Call Me by Fire closed its second television season with a collective result rather than a single champion. Its main outcomes reflected different forms of success: alliance victories, individual audience scores, popularity, leadership and support for fellow performers.
