The total, reported as approximately 130 billion South Korean won, follows 22 concerts in large stadiums and domes across the region. The group's SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] visited Incheon, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Bulacan, alongside four major Japanese dome venues.

Hong Kong delivered one of the tour's clearest milestones. SEVENTEEN became the first K-pop act to sell out four performances at Kai Tak Stadium, the city's largest stadium. Two of those concerts, on February 28 and March 1, drew more than 73,000 spectators between them.

The ranking moves SEVENTEEN up from second place behind Coldplay in the previous edition. It also places the group at the head of a chart whose first four positions belong to K-pop acts: SEVENTEEN, TWICE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and BTS.

The concert business extends beyond the main group tour. Fan meetings in Japan and South Korea attracted approximately 238,000 attendees in May and June, while Jeonghan and Joshua's forthcoming performances in Incheon sold out during fan club presales. Together, those activities show how SEVENTEEN is drawing audiences through full group concerts, fan gatherings and smaller member combinations, rather than relying on a single touring format.

How far ahead was SEVENTEEN?

TWICE placed second on the Asia chart with $76,176,781 in ticket revenue. TOMORROW X TOGETHER followed with $53,035,381, and BTS ranked fourth with $49,069,994 from its ARIRANG world tour.

SEVENTEEN's lead over TWICE was approximately $21.2 million, or about 28% of TWICE's total. That comparison gives a clearer sense of the gap than the ranking alone: the difference between first and second was itself a substantial concert business.

Western artists also occupied prominent positions. Lady Gaga ranked fifth with $44,379,794, followed by Travis Scott with $37,922,441. G.E.M. took seventh with $31,725,779, BLACKPINK eighth with $29,193,966, and ENHYPEN ninth with $21,562,532.

The chart measures reported ticket revenue, often called gross revenue in the concert industry. This is the money generated from ticket sales before the costs of staging a tour are deducted. Artists and promoters still face expenses such as venue hire, production, transport and staffing.

Dividing SEVENTEEN's reported revenue by its 661,088 tickets gives approximately $147 in revenue per ticket. Individual prices vary by city and seating category, so that figure describes the combined sales result across the reported concerts.

A stadium route backed by Japan's domes

SEVENTEEN began the NEW_ world tour in September 2025 and finished it with encore concerts in Incheon in April 2026. Its Asian route combined stadium stops in several countries with Japan's established network of large indoor concert venues.

The Japanese dates took the group to Vantelin Dome Nagoya, Kyocera Dome Osaka, Tokyo Dome and Mizuho Fukuoka PayPay Dome. Those venues gave the tour a presence across four major Japanese cities rather than concentrating its Japanese business in Tokyo.

Incheon, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Bulacan supplied the stadium portion of the regional itinerary. Across Asia, the group performed 22 concerts in stadiums and domes, reaching large audiences through repeated dates at venues built to accommodate major events.

Some members were unable to join the tour. Even with that change in participation, SEVENTEEN advanced to first place in the regional revenue ranking and continued attracting audiences to group events.

The previous Asia Focus edition covered October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, when SEVENTEEN placed second behind Coldplay. That period included activity from the earlier SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR. The latest edition uses a different reporting window, beginning in August 2025, so the two chart periods overlap in August and September.

Why Hong Kong mattered

Kai Tak Stadium gave SEVENTEEN a venue capable of hosting a substantial run of concerts in one city. The stadium has a stated capacity of 50,000 and a retractable roof. The wider Kai Tak Sports Park also includes an indoor arena accommodating 10,000 people, with 80% of its seating retractable.

SEVENTEEN's four sold out stadium performances marked a first for a K-pop act at the venue. Within that run, the February 28 and March 1 concerts attracted more than 73,000 people and placed 18th on Billboard's Top Boxscores chart, which ranks reported concert engagements by ticket revenue.

The 2026 midyear Top Boxscores entry lists 73,200 attendees and $16.8 million in gross revenue across those two shows, with HYBE as promoter and ticket prices listed at $370.56/$114.91.

Kath Wong, a senior manager at the company operating Kai Tak Sports Park, identified SEVENTEEN and BLACKPINK among its concert highlights. She described the importance of staging major international productions:

It demonstrated that the stadium could host some of the world's biggest touring artists and deliver complex international production to the standard expected by the artist, promoter and production teams.

For Hong Kong, the achievement involved both filling seats and operating the production behind the performance. Large tours need space and equipment for elaborate stages, screens, lighting and sound, alongside arrangements for moving thousands of spectators through a venue.

SEVENTEEN's repeated dates therefore gave Kai Tak an opportunity to demonstrate its ability to support a major concert run, while giving fans several chances to attend in the same city.

A separate global ranking tells another part of the story

Billboard's 2026 Boxscore midyear figures placed SEVENTEEN seventh worldwide on its Top Tours chart and ninth on Top Ticket Sales. The group was the highest ranked K-pop act on both lists during that reporting period.

Those figures covered October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. Across 25 performances, SEVENTEEN drew approximately 574,000 attendees and generated $88.1 million in ticket revenue. The same figures placed the group first on the K-pop Top Tours chart.

The Boxscore charts are based on figures reported to Billboard by a variety of official industry sources. All reported shows between October 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, were eligible for the midyear rankings, but some artists, venues and promoters chose to withhold data from the charts.

The Asia Focus ranking covers regional business over 12 months, while Billboard's figures cover worldwide touring during six months. Each chart captures a different portion of the group's concert activity, explaining why the performance counts, ticket totals and revenue figures vary.

TWICE ranked 12th on Billboard's Top Tours list, with approximately $58.3 million from 28 concerts and about 434,000 attendees. TOMORROW X TOGETHER placed 15th, generating approximately $53 million from 20 performances and about 412,000 attendees. Lady Gaga led the worldwide revenue ranking with approximately $236.2 million, followed by Bad Bunny with about $230.3 million.

Across the entire NEW_ tour from September 2025 to April 2026, SEVENTEEN's combined audience for physical performances and online viewing exceeded 900,000. That measure includes people watching remotely, giving it a wider scope than the concert ticket counts.

Fan meetings kept the audience connection going

SEVENTEEN continued holding large gatherings after the world tour ended. Fan meetings in May at Kyocera Dome Osaka and Tokyo Dome, followed by June events at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, attracted approximately 238,000 attendees in total.

Fan meetings are events centred on the relationship between an act and its supporters. They can combine performances with conversation and other activities, giving fans a different experience from a standard tour concert.

The venues show the scale of SEVENTEEN's audience for that format. The group returned to two major Japanese domes and used a stadium in South Korea, sustaining demand beyond the NEW_ concert schedule.

The main dates place the chart result within a longer stretch of activity:

  • September 2025: SEVENTEEN began the NEW_ world tour.
  • February 28 and March 1, 2026: Two Kai Tak Stadium concerts attracted more than 73,000 spectators.
  • April 2026: The world tour ended with encore concerts in Incheon.
  • May and June 2026: Fan meetings in Japan and South Korea attracted approximately 238,000 attendees.
  • July 31, 2026: The latest Asia Focus reporting period ended.
  • October 30 to November 1, 2026: Jeonghan and Joshua are scheduled to open their performance tour at Inspire Arena in Incheon.

Jeonghan and Joshua lead the next concert chapter

Jeonghan and Joshua are preparing JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING], a tour planned for six cities in South Korea and abroad. The opening Incheon engagement at Inspire Arena, scheduled for October 30 through November 1, sold out entirely through fan club membership presales.

The full six city itinerary has not been specified. The Incheon sales result nevertheless provides a concrete measure of demand for the pair's own performances, separate from the full group's stadium concerts.

The project accompanies their first mini album, DREAMSCAPE, which contains seven tracks. Its title song is 12 o'clock, and the album also includes individual songs from each member: Not Personal for Joshua and Coloring for Jeonghan.

The album's central theme brings together dreams experienced during sleep and the ambitions people pursue in everyday life. The performance title carries that concept onto the stage, connecting the music release with the pair's concert plans.

Other SEVENTEEN members have also pursued their own live activities. Hoshi and Woozi began unit performances in July 2025, while S.Coups and Mingyu, DK and Seungkwan, V8, and Dino have held their own shows in South Korea and elsewhere in Asia. A unit is a smaller combination of members performing under a shared project.

The regional business behind the ranking

SEVENTEEN's result sits within a broader expansion of Asian concert activity. HYBE led the Asia promoter ranking with $247,965,087 in reported gross revenue, ahead of Live Nation's $209,803,871. Japan's Creativeman Productions ranked third with $103,665,840.

In Billboard's separate 2026 midyear Top Promoters ranking, HYBE placed sixth with $170.2 million in gross revenue and 1.2 million attendees across 61 reported shows during the October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, reporting period.

Japanese companies occupied three of the top five promoter positions and six of the top 10. That concentration helps explain why Japan's dome network remains central to regional touring, including SEVENTEEN's route through Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo and Fukuoka.

Naoki Shimizu, president of Creativeman Productions, described demand across several types of entertainment:

The live music market has bounced back from the pandemic and is expanding even more than before.

Investment and scheduling extend beyond the current chart. Japan's GMO Arena Saitama, formerly Saitama Super Arena, has been closed for major renovation since January 2026 and is scheduled to resume operations in April 2027. Live Nation H.I.P. has also outlined a Bruno Mars dome tour with 12 performances across six Japanese cities in January 2027.

For SEVENTEEN, the immediate result is a leading position in a market served by both large venues and experienced promoters. Its $97.4 million regional ticket total, four sold out Kai Tak performances and continuing member projects show the breadth of that business: major group tours create the largest events, while fan meetings and unit concerts keep the live schedule active between them.
