24 artists prepare to take a digital hit onto the concert stage
Tinh Hà Say Hi has recorded more than 35 billion listens, views and uses across digital platforms as its 24 performers prepare to reunite for concerts on October 17 and 18 at Vạn Phúc City in Ho Chi Minh City. Both nights are sold out, along with a third concert scheduled for November 14, 2026, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi.

The digital total covers the programme's first three months through September 30, using figures compiled from Meta, TikTok, CapCut, YouTube and VieIP - Sony Music. It exceeds the benchmark of more than 23 billion recorded by Anh trai Say Hi 2025. The new total brings together several kinds of activity, including watching videos, listening to songs and using music in content created by fans.
DatVietVAC, which created and produced the music reality programme, is now preparing to bring that activity into a shared physical space. The concert series, Hẹn giữa Tinh hà, will feature the first gathering of all 24 participants on a performance stage since the awards gala.
Quang Hùng MasterD returns as the season's winner, alongside runner up Dương Domic. CongB, buitruonglinh and Captain Boy complete the programme's Best 5. Their next performances will take place on a stage designed to carry artists beyond the main platform and closer to spectators in different ticket areas.
The preparations connect three parts of the programme's success: songs that travelled across music and video platforms, fans who helped circulate them, and ticket buyers who filled three scheduled concert nights.
What sits inside the 35 billion total?
TikTok accounts for a large part of the programme's digital footprint. By October 7, the show's hashtag and hashtags carrying its artists' names had accumulated nearly 11.9 billion views. Fans had also used its music in more than 5.6 million videos of their own.
Those videos give a song another route to an audience. A listener can discover a track through a dance, a short performance clip or another fan's creation, then seek out the full recording. The 5.6 million videos measure how often people made something with the music, while the hashtag figure measures viewing activity around the show and its performers.
Audio listening continued to grow after the September 30 milestone. Streams on music platforms rose from more than 102.3 million that day to nearly 120 million by October 7. Using those published figures, the increase was approximately 17.7 million streams, or about 17%, in one week.
Spotify contributed more than 70 million of the nearly 120 million audio streams, roughly three fifths of the total. The programme's Facebook page separately accumulated almost 392 million views. Each figure describes a different part of the audience's activity, explaining why the headline total is much broader than the number of people listening to full songs.
SECRET leads a catalogue with several breakout songs
SECRET was the season's most listened to and watched song, reaching 2.7 billion plays and views across platforms and winning The Hit Icon award. Its chart run extended across YouTube Music Trending, Vietnam's YouTube Video Trending chart, Apple Music's Top 100 Vietnam and iTunes Vietnam.
The song also reached leading positions on Zing MP3 and NCT charts. Chờ chút... secured the top spot on Spotify Top 50 Vietnam, giving the season another leading track on a major listening platform.
The catalogue's reach extended beyond those two songs. MRT, Thế giới của anh, 50 cuộc gọi nhỡ, IDNAT (Im đợi người anh thương), MVP (Mưa vội phóng), Mộng duyên and Mất la bàn were among the tracks to pass 100 million combined listens and views. The theme song, Together We Shine, also crossed that threshold.
Giải cứu thế giới followed a different route to a full performance. Fans first paid attention to a short demo, and the complete song was later performed at the awards gala with support from sponsor TPBank. That progression shows how audience interest in an unfinished musical idea became part of the season's final presentation.
Five performance rounds built the concert repertoire
Tinh Hà Say Hi developed its music through five Live Stage rounds under the concept Performer - Creator - Icon. The opening round put six teams to work on six new songs, including Bad Night, 50 cuộc gọi nhỡ and IDNAT.
The second round paired traditional Vietnamese instruments with other musical arrangements. Thế giới của anh featured bamboo flute. Mộng duyên combined traditional drums with jazz drums, while MVP used the stone lithophone associated with the Central Highlands. Mất la bàn incorporated the đàn tranh, a Vietnamese plucked zither.
The third round required each artist group to complete an EP containing three songs. An EP is a short collection of recordings, smaller than a typical album. SECRET and MRT emerged from that stage. The fourth round then brought team captains together with international producers.
Vietnamese cultural traditions became central to the final stretch. Thêu hoa dệt gấm drew on ca trù, xẩm, chèo and quan họ, distinct forms of Vietnamese singing and performance. Written and led by buitruonglinh with HURRYKNG, JSol and CongB, it won The Viet Vanguard Award for combining Vietnamese culture with contemporary artistic work.
Sau hình bóng ấy took inspiration from the Vietnamese folk tale Tấm Cám. Both that performance and Thêu hoa dệt gấm reached number one on YouTube's trending music video chart in Vietnam. The concert repertoire therefore comes from a season that moved between new pop songs, collaborative production and recognisable cultural references.
Social conversation followed the songs and their performers
YouNet Media recorded 7.6 million discussions about Tinh Hà Say Hi before the final. Its measurement of 51 reality programmes during the first half of 2026 also placed the show first for discussion before its broadcast launch.
During the broadcast season, Tinh Hà Say Hi held the leading position for several weeks in rankings from Kompa, Socialite and YouNet Media. It led interaction rankings in July and August, while Buzzmetrics named it the most prominent show on social media in August.
Socialite recorded more than 1.56 million discussions during the awards week of September 30 to October 6. Quang Hùng MasterD led the artists with 88,054 mentions, followed by Dương Domic with 52,837 and Captain Boy with 49,312.
The preceding week, September 23 to 29, Socialite recorded 721,539 interactions in its reality programme category and 1,325,494 in its gameshow and entertainment category. Those category figures track engagement within their respective rankings. Together with the individual artist counts, they show how attention moved between the programme, its music and the people performing it.
How three concert nights sold out
Ticket demand first became visible during a presale for TPBank cardholders at 10 a.m. on September 7. General sales for the October 17 concert opened at 10 a.m. the following day, and organisers said all tickets were gone within about 45 minutes.
SVIP A was the first category to sell out, followed by SVIP B. Demand also reached the most expensive areas: President Lounge tickets cost 50 million dong, while Sky Lounge tickets cost 10 million dong. The President Lounge allocation comprised just 40 tickets and included access to a backstage visit, soundcheck and photographs with the artists.
Organisers added the October 18 performance, opening sales on September 11. Categories including SVIP, VIP, Sky Lounge, Fanzone, GA and CAT subsequently sold out. The Hanoi concert later exhausted its ticket allocation as well.
The main dates trace the move from television launch to a concert series spanning Vietnam's two largest cities:
- July 4: Tinh Hà Say Hi began broadcasting.
- September 7: The TPBank cardholder presale opened.
- September 8: General sales opened for October 17, with tickets selling out in about 45 minutes.
- September 11: Sales opened for the additional October 18 concert.
- September 30: The programme's combined digital activity passed 35 billion.
- October 17 and 18: The first two concerts are scheduled at Vạn Phúc City.
- November 14, 2026: The third concert is scheduled at VEC in Hanoi.
A runway brings performers closer to more ticket areas
Vạn Phúc City's concert layout places raised stands on three sides of the central floor. A long runway named Dải Tinh hà connects the main stage with two satellite platforms among the Fanzone and GA audience areas.
The published design allows those platforms to be arranged in a U shape or a square configuration. Organisers say the layout is intended to reduce obstructed views and give artists more places to interact with spectators, including those away from the main stage.
Large LED screens form part of the main stage, with additional screens on either side for people farther away. Gift distribution areas are also planned along the raised walkways and satellite stages.
In an October 13 construction update, organisers said the structural work and stage framework were complete. Speakers had been installed and secured, while the main stage lighting was approximately 90% complete. Rehearsals on the connected platforms give the performers an opportunity to coordinate movement across the larger performance area.
Fans will contribute messages, dances and paper stars
Thế giới của anh will include audience messages on the LED screens during both Ho Chi Minh City concerts. During IDNAT on the second night, four spectators will be invited onto the stage to dance with the performers. Organisers have kept the rest of the set list secret.
Fans have also prepared 24 wishing star pillars, one for each artist's fan club. The pillars were installed at DatVietVAC's headquarters from September 27 and decorated with folded paper stars in four colours representing happiness, health, success and good luck.
On October 11, the Wishing Star Day gathering at 222 Pasteur brought fans together to finish the pillars, with artists making surprise appearances. All 24 pillars filled earlier than planned and will be displayed at the concert venue as places for fans to take photographs.
The completed project also unlocked a promised piece of secret content featuring all 24 artists. On stage, 24 selected spectators are due to hand each performer a box of stars containing wishes. Extra stars folded after October 8 are intended to form a starry display during the concert.
Rehearsals supplied another point of connection before the shows. Cody Nam Võ dressed as singer Ngô Kiến Huy, Ivan and CoolKid appeared as Vietnamese literary characters Chí Phèo and Thị Nở, and Xuân Định KY and Hyo chose Nobita and Doraemon. The costumes circulated online while the artists continued preparing their performances.
Hanoi brings a new venue and travel plans
Hanoi's November 14 concert will take place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center rather than Mỹ Đình National Stadium, a familiar venue for earlier Say Hi events. Anh trai Say Hi held its D-3 concert at Mỹ Đình in December 2024 and D-6 there in May 2025.
The VEC announcement prompted fans to begin planning ticket purchases, hotel stays and transport. Organisers subsequently announced that the night had sold out and said they would provide 20 shuttle buses and free parking at VEC.
TPBank, the programme's diamond sponsor, has also promoted opportunities to receive tickets and gifts through activities on its banking app after public ticket sales ended. The sponsor's involvement runs from the initial cardholder presale to awards and audience promotions, linking the television season with the concert series.
For concertgoers, the next steps are concrete: the two October performances in Ho Chi Minh City, followed by the November 14 event in Hanoi. The programme's digital audience will then encounter the songs in a setting built around shared singing, movement across several stages and direct participation from selected fans.
